A family jewellers since 1975
Colin started his career with an apprenticeship in Glasgow. After completing his training, he set up his own business, first going ‘direct to the public’ in the early 1980s. We have been operating from our current location in the Victorian Market since moving here in 2000.
A skill handed down
In the 1990s, Paul—Colin’s son—requested to join the business, having already completed an apprenticeship in a different field. He started by dedicating a few hours each day to learning the trade after finishing his own full-time work.
After a year, Colin recognized Paul's commitment, and Paul officially joined the business full-time.
Repairs & Alterations
Our on-site workshop handles over one hundred repairs every week. To effectively manage this significant volume and ensure timely service, we also partner with a select group of trusted specialists for subcontracted work.
We undertake a wide range of repairs, including but not limited to:
- Ring re-sizing
- Claw work
- Rhodium plating
- Chain repairs
- Pearl and bead restringing
- Sourcing and setting replacement diamonds and gemstones
